Standard office desks remain the workhorse — durable melamine tops, cable management and a fixed working height that suits most roles. If your team spends long hours at the screen, height-adjustable (sit-stand) desks are no longer a luxury; the evidence on movement and focus is now strong enough that many of our clients specify them as standard. For growing teams, bench desking maximises floor space and makes it easy to add positions later. Where a desk needs to make a statement — director’s offices, client-facing spaces — our executive and glass desk ranges deliver presence as well as function.

A standard desk has a fixed working height (typically 720–740mm). A height-adjustable, or sit-stand, desk lets the user move between sitting and standing through the day, which supports posture and concentration. We stock both — call us if you’d like help deciding which suits your team.

As a guide, allow at least 1200mm width per person for general office work, and 1400–1600mm for roles using multiple monitors or paperwork. We’re happy to advise on layouts for your specific floorplan.
